2018 ‘Booze & Bacon’ Festival Was A Sizzling Good Time [VIDEO]
Bacon, booze, and beer lovers from all over rejoiced Saturday at the first 'Booze & Bacon' Festival at the Casper Events Center.
The sweet aroma of bacon could be smelled as soon as you stepped out of your car in the parking lot. Local businesses had the chance to show off their culinary skills to the public as long as their dish contained one key ingredient - bacon. There was a fantastic variety of samples to be had such as beer cheese bacon soup, bacon cheese bread, bacon cheeseburger sliders, pork belly atop of beans & pomegranate, and even a dessert option. There was also plenty of pork belly and good old fashioned bacon served solo.
Booze and beer vendors from all over the state set up to show off their best brews and spirits to compliment the bacon dishes.
The public was asked to vote for their favorite bacon, booze, and beer. And the winners are...
A portion of the proceeds went to benefit the Wyoming Food For Though Project. A check was presented at the end of the event for a total of $1,059.
