Atmospheric moisture will slowly works its way back into the state later today.  Western counties and the mountains will be in the best position for isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.  Please be aware that strong, gusty winds will accompany these thunderstorms as will frequent lightning.  Conditions continue to be very dry in the west as well, with very high to extreme fire danger.  A Red Flag Warning is in effect through 9pm tonight for western Wyoming.

Further east, weather conditions remain very dry too.  Central and eastern Wyoming could see a few small quick moving gusty thunderstorms later today as well.

On Friday moisture in the southwest will move further north and east.  This will put the state in a better position for scattered showers and thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening.
