‘Jurassic World’ Delivers an Awesome Photo of Chris Pratt Hanging Tough With a Raptor
Your Christmas gift from ‘Jurassic World’ has arrived early. Previously, the first trailer for the upcoming sequel had teased a moment near the end in which Chris Pratt’s character appeared to be teaming up with the super lethal velociraptors to take down the super-smart hybrid dinosaur wreaking havoc in the world’s most ill-advised theme park. And now director Colin Trevorrow has revealed this pretty rad new photo of Pratt hanging tough with one of his raptor pals.
Sony Officially Cancels the Planned Christmas Release of ‘The Interview’
Following today’s release of a message sent from the mysterious group responsible for the massive Sony hack, the company has now informed theater owners that they can opt out of screening ‘The Interview’ if they are concerned about the terrorist threat. Although the Department of Homeland Security responded by saying they could find “no credible info” on planned attacks, Sony has decided to place the decision to screen the film in the hands of theater executives.
The Top 10 Movies and TV Shows of 2014, According to Facebook
It’s that time of the year, when pop culture websites and critics publish their annual Best Of lists and we heap praise on the best and most beloved movies and TV shows of the year. The social media site has released their top 10 movies and top 10 TV shows of the year, based on the most discussed titled of 2014. While some are fairly obvious, the lists might surprise you and inspire you to contemplate the overlap between what’s popular and what’s actually good.
‘Star Wars: Episode 7’ Trailer Gets Recreated Shot for Shot with LEGOs
The Force is strong with ‘Star Wars’ fans. The trailer for ‘The Force Awakens’ just debuted yesterday, but already fans have taken to the internet to scrutinize every detail and shot from the trailer, which is part of the excitement. One fan in particular decided to take things to the next level and recreate the entire 88-second trailer using only LEGOs, which is pretty impressive given how little time it’s been since the actual trailer made its way to the masses.

Melissa McCarthy Will Play Tinker Bell in a Movie Which Will Surely Be Magical
Hey, remember that Tinker Bell sketch from 'SNL' a while back, when Aidy Bryant played a bawdy version of the beloved Disney fairy? If only we could have a film version of that. Well, prepare for the next best thing. Melissa McCarthy is set to star in a live-action Tinker Bell film from 'Night at the Museum' director Shawn Levy and 'Neighbors' writer Nicholas Stoller. Magical!
Watch Johnny Depp’s Weird, Drunken Speech at the Hollywood Film Awards
So this is why we don't see Johnny Depp on stage very often (ever?) at awards shows. Last night at the Hollywood Film Awards, Depp introduced the documentary ‘Supermensch,’ about legendary talent manager Shep Gordon, and immediately made it pretty clear that he was not sober-minded. “That's the weirdest microphone I've ever seen in my life,” he slurs—except, you know, it's just a regular microphone.
‘Black Panther’ Star Chadwick Boseman Talks His Amazing New Role
At last week's big Marvel event, there were lots of things to be excited about, but the two biggest revelations were undoubtedly 'Captain Marvel' and 'Black Panther,' with the studio giving us a solo female superhero film and a film featuring a black superhero -- the latter to be played by Chadwick Boseman, who will hit the screen in 'Captain America: Civil War.' Boseman has been laying low since, but now he's making the rounds and speaking out about his recent casting. And although it's still years away, he promises that we haven't seen anything like what Marvel has in store with 'Black Panther.'
’50 Shades of Grey’ Won’t Feature Any Male Nudity, So Who Is This Movie For Anyway?
One of the great celebratory moments of 2014 was seeing Ben Affleck nude in 'Gone Girl' (and a little bit of Neil Patrick Harris too, if you were paying attention). It's not as if us women are male-nudity-starved, craven maniacs just salivating for a glimpse of wang or something, but with all the rampant female nudity and objectification that permeates pop culture, it's nice to see a little equality. So it's disheartening to hear that Jamie Dornan will not be appearing fully nude in '50 Shades of Grey,' as if that movie needed another reason to be avoided.
‘Top Five’ Trailer: Chris Rock Makes His Directing Debut With Some Very Funny People
Chris Rock: Comedian, actor, and now he can add director to his resume with 'Top Five,' a film that had plenty of people talking when it premiered at this year's film festival in Toronto. Paramount wasted no time picking the film up, and it seems like the studio is wasting very little time in getting Rock's very promising directorial debut out there as quickly as possible. Judging by the first trailer, featuring a cast of incredibly funny and talented folks, this is going to be delightful.
