Mercurial Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose has been added to the set of Heavy Metal Autographs, an 80s hard rock-themed imprint of the 2013 Topps Archives Baseball trading cards set.

The news comes from card collecting site Cardboard Connection (via Bravewords), who reports that the inclusion of Rose now brings the total number of rockers in the set to 10. Last month we reported that the series included such stars as Tommy Lee, Dee Snider and Lita Ford. We have since learned that the "Bobby Brown" mentioned in our previous article is not the 'My Prerogative' singer, but rather Bobbie Brown, the ex-wife of the late Warrant singer Jani Lane, who appeared in their 'Cherry Pie' video.

The cards will feature the artist's signature, have a nostalgic look to them and, in keeping with the musical genre, will be printed on metal. There is no word as to which of the musicians' statistics will be included on the back, or whether or not the gum will taste like Jack Daniels.

As with all of Topps' special editions, collecting every card in the Heavy Metal Autographs will be difficult. Only 25 sets of Heavy Metal Autographs will be printed.

The set will be released on May 29.
