    2013 Fireworks Festival

    The best part of the 4th of July!  Fireworks Festival 2013 will be held Thursday, July 4th on the grounds of the Casper Events Center. There will be a Beer Garden as well as food and vendor booths that include BBQ, kettle corn, jewelry, purses, and lots of other great items and tasty treats!  A jump house and an inflatable slide will be at this years festival for kids to enjoy.  NBC “The Voice” contestant and Wyoming native, Aquile will be performing for the first time at the Fireworks Festival!

    Have a BBQ or Picnic

    Nothing screams American like a 4th of July BBQ!  Bust out the grill, invite some friends and family, let your hair down and relax.  You can keep it a simple back yard BBQ, or you could take your BBQ to any our great Casper parks.  Nancy English Park, City Park, Mike Sedar Park, and Washington Park are all prime spots to have a great 4th of July get together.

    Relax at Alcova

    Located only about 30 miles away from Casper, Alcova is the go-to spot if you want to relax and cool off for the day.  You can kick around any of the campgrounds, get some sun and swimming at Sandy Beach, or get out on the water with your boat or jet skis.  Don't forget about the Alcova Lakeside Marina.  Get any supplies you might need, plus they have a great restaurant and bar to relax in.

    Go See a Casper Cutthroats Game

    Baseball is the great American passtime.  It only seems fitting to go check out a game on our nations independence day.  July 4th the Casper Cutthroats will be facing off against the North Colorado Toros.  The game starts at 6:35 PM at Mike Lansing Field.  Cheer on our hometown team on the most patriotic day of the year!

    Go See a Movie

    Many people having the 4th of July off from work.  This is the perfect opportunity to go check out that summer blockbuster you have been waiting to see.  Big summer movies are frequently released in conjunction with the big holiday weekend.  Casper has 5 great movie theaters to choose from.  Many movies in 3D and 2D to choose from.  A matinee is a great way to beat the heat and spend some good quality family time together.
