The City of Casper really, really, really wants to sell three properties, again.

The city is accepting bids -- due 5 p.m. Friday, July 28 -- for three lots it put up for sale earlier this year on an "as is, where is" basis:

  • The Wolf Creek Cemetery parcel southeast of Moose Street and West 46th Street zoned AG (Urban Agriculture). A Jan. 23 appraisal stated the 33-acre property had a market value of $345,000.
  • 777 Bernadine Street, zoned C-4 (Highway Business). A Jan. 23 appraisal stated the 24,000-square-foot property had a market value of $145,000.
  • 334 Lark Street, zoned R-2 (One Unit Residential). A Jan. 23 appraisal stated the 5,238-square-foot property had a market value of of $30,000.

The city previously accepted sealed bids for the properties but voted to reject all of them for reasons including failure to follow directions.

Prospective buyers are highly encouraged to read and follow the terms and conditions found in the Legal Notice section under Public Notices section of the city's website.

The city reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
