So after the Natrona County School District received a threatening letter warning of an attack on NCHS that would take place on Halloween day, district officials informed NCHS parents that school would continue as usual, but they could choose to keep their children home.

It was reported that:

  • Orly 493 of the 1,811 Natrona County High School students attended school on Wednesday
  • Only 952 of the 1,545  Kelly Walsh High School students attended school on Wednesday
  • There were also some parents in other schools that chose to keep their children home as well.

Apparently it was “business as usual" at the high schools, except for the obvious lack of students in attendance.

Some Casper parents weighed in on their decision weather to keep their kid(s) home that day or not...here are the results.
