The man knows how to get headlines. From the impromptu shows at Home Depot, to the spats with Aerosmith partner Joe Perry, Steven Tyler has had his share of the limelight.

Last Wednesday he showed his compassionate side, when he made a phone call to a young lady from Ohio, who is dying of Lou Gehrig's disease.

Susan Marshall's final two wishes were to have her Bar Mitzvah, and get a call from the Aerosmith frontman. He made the call on the first day of Hanukkah, and even said a Hebrew prayer.

Sir Paul Mc Cartney personally asked Steven to sing at Paul's Kennedy Center honors last weekend. Steven sang the final four songs from side 2 of the Beatles' "Abbey Road" album.

The ceremonies and performances can be seen on CBS December 28th.
