Over the last 10 years, Casper Fire has lent out over 3500 life jackets that have never been returned. Over the last decade, local businesses and individuals have donated over 4000 life jackets to the program. Unfortunately, citizens are borrowing but not retuning the life saving devices.

The Casper Fire Department would like to remind those that have borrowed the jackets to return them. Many of the life jackets are clearly marked as being property of the department. The department has started the recovery program with a wide ranging request to simply return the jackets and will follow up with individual phone calls and contact from the lists that are kept from check-out. Borrowers are asked to return jackets to any fire station with no questions asked.

Also if you have any life jackets for adults or children they can be donated to the program by dropping off at any fire station.
