Special Olympics Wyoming is hosting its largest statewide competition in Casper over the next two days.  Athletes, coaches, volunteers and family members from across Wyoming are in town to participate in or support competition in soccer, cycling, bowling and equestrian events.  A variety of venues throughout Casper will host events including the Casper Events Center, Natrona County Fairgrounds, North Casper Soccer Complex, Platte River Commons, El Mark O Lanes, Eagle Bowl and Sunrise Lanes.

Along with high hopes of earning a medal in their competition event, the highlight of the week for many of the athletes is enjoying the victory dinner and dance that is held at the Casper Events Center.  This year's theme is "Spooktacular Boo Bash!" a guaranteed frightfully good time should be had by all.

The public is encouraged to stop by a venue any time during competition to cheer on the athletes and of course, there is always a need for extra volunteers (just ask for the volunteer registration area at any venue if you can help out).  Here is a complete location/time master schedule.
