The search for a missing Idaho man focused on Casper Mountain over the weekend. Twenty-three-year-old Phillip Gibson was last seen in the Casper area, and investigators say forensics indicate his cell phone may have been in use around a tower atop the mountain.

Ground teams with the Natrona County Sheriff’s office, along with aircraft from the Civil Air Patrol conducted an extensive search around the mountain on Sunday, but Gibson was not located. Additional searches are expected.

Gibson is described as a White male, 23 years-old, five foot eight inches tall, weighing approximately 145 pounds, with blue eyes and blonde hair.
Gibson is believed to be driving a 2003 Black GMC Crew Cab pickup, with various chrome accessories, bearing Idaho plates 3C2975T.
Anyone with any information is urged to contact the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office at 307-235-9282.
