The Colorado State University Rams (18-4, 5-2) added the University of Wyoming men's basketball team to their list of 26 straight wins at home taking down the Cowboys easily 65-46 in Fort Collins on Saturday. And if it was for a record night by senior guard Derrious Gilmore who single handidly kept the Cowboys (15-6, 2-6) in the game in both the first and second half dropping in 26 points the Poke's loss would have been even more humiliating. Though the Cowboys were in the game in the first half the bigger, faster and better shooting Rams sliced and diced the Cowboys in the second half with five players reaching double figures in scoring as well as out rebounding the Pokes 42-28.

The Cowboys are now in free fall in the Mountain West Conference losing five straight conference games. The Cowboys have gone from a top 25 team to nest to last in the Conference. Up next for the Cowboys is a non-conference game against CSU Bakersfield on Wednesday.
