The first day of spring football practice at the University of Wyoming was completed Tuesday inside the Indoor Practice Facility.

Wyoming head coach Craig Bohl called it a “good day” and reflected on what he saw in a two-and-a-half hour training session. The fifth year head coach also was asked about the QB competition, fullback, tight end, the running game, a slight shuffle with the coaching staff and how an All-American candidate in senior Andrew Wingard can improve.

While Coach Bohl is happy with day one, the players were also pleased to be back at work, and they know they’ve got to improve.

The Cowboys return to the practice field Tuesday for their second of 15 sessions this spring.
