After a miserable start to the Cowboys football season the Pokes have come on and exhibited some...well...excellent play as of late. They got the Bronze Boote beating Colorado State. They took down New Mexico on the road and this last weekend? Well another victory...on the road.

The Pokes (4-7, 3-4) were able to beat UNLV (2-10,2-5) on the road this past weekend, winning thier third game in a row. IN A ROW! Credit 6ft-2 Eddie Yarbrough's seven tackles and three sacks this past weekend. In addition to Trey Norman's six receptions for 79 yards.

And now the Pokes can make it four in a row. Something the out going seniors can hang their helmets on. But it isn't going to be easy. The Cowboys will play San Diego State (8-3, 6-1) this weekend, one of the toughest teams in the Conference. Nothing's been east this season for the Cowboys. And that isn't going to change.
