Colton Iverson scored 29 points to lead three Colorado State players in double figures, as the Rams completed a regular season sweep of the Wyoming Cowboys with a 78-56 win Wednesday night in Laramie. CSU utilized a 15-3 run in the first half to take control of the game and rolled to their 23rd win of the season.

The Cowboys got off to a solid start and led 10-7 with 16:21 left in the first half. That's when the Rams went on their key run and never looked back. UW shot 57.1 percent in the first half and knocked down 5-of-9 3-pointers, but Colorado State was even better. They were 19-30 for 63.3 percent from the floor and opened up a 47-32 lead at halftime.

Wyoming (18-12, 4-12) cut the lead to 12 point on two occasions in the second half, but that's as close as they would get. They suffered their fifth straight loss to close the regular season. Larry Nance, Jr. led the Pokes with 16 points, while Derrious Gilmore added 12 points on senior night. UW was 22-41 (53.7%) from the field, 5-14 (35.7%) from deep and only 7-17 (41.2%) at the line.

Colorado State (23-7, 10-5) dominated the glass and out-rebounded Wyoming 35-11. They held a 34-22 edge on points in the paint and out-scored the Cowboys 20-2 on second chance points. Besides Iverson, the Rams also got 18 points from Dorian Green and 12 from Greg Smith. They shot 32-52 (61.5%) on field goals, which included 4-12 (33.3%) from 3-point range and were 10-15 (66.7%) from the charity stripe.

Next up for the Wyoming Cowboys is the 2013 Reese's Mountain West Basketball Championships next week in Las Vegas. UW will now wait to see who and when they play in the tournament.
