The University of Wyoming Cowboys Basketball team are looking for their first road win tonight in Montana. The University of Wyoming men's basketball team wraps up non-conference play for 2014-15 at Montana State tonight. The Cowboys (10-2) seek their first road win of the season versus a Bobcats (3-8) squad that lost 70-61 in Laramie just eight days ago and is 3-1 at home this season. After their loss in Laramie, head coach Brian Fish and Montana State dropped a 55-53 game at South Dakota on Dec. 18 and, most recently, an 87-60 game at Portland on Saturday. The Bobcats started well, leading 16-14 with 11:29 to play in the first half, but a 12-2 Portland run gave the Pilots control of the game, which they would never relinquish. In fact, after a three-pointer, the Bobcats would never pull to within single digits. The Bobcats shot 37 percent from the floor to Portland's 55 percent, and the Pilots shot 50 percent from the arc. Wyoming owns a 42-11 advantage in the all-time series, but just a 6-6 mark in Bozeman as the vast majority of those meetings have been neutral-site contests. UW's last contest in Bozeman was Dec. 5, 1959, while its last win in the city was Dec. 3, 1954. In the last game between the two, the Cowboys earned a 70-61 victory in Laramie on Dec. 14. http://www.gowyo.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/122214aaa.html
