The streak is over. The losing streak that is. The University of Wyoming Cowboy's Basketball team (16-6, 2-6) had to go all the way to California to get a much needed victory to snap a four game losing streak taking down CSU Bakersfield 61-53 last night.

The Cowboys win gave the Pokes something they've been looking for all season. An undefeated non conference record.

Cowboy Sophomore Forward Larry Nance Jr. had the game of his career with 17 points and 15 rebounds. Nance single-handedly kept the Pokes in the game n the second half. Sophomore Forward Derek Cooke Jr. had 12 points and 13 rebounds and Freshman guard (that's Freshman) Jason McManamen put up 10 off the bench. And as all things in the Mountain West it doesn't get any easier for the Cowboys.

They have to go on the road and resume Conference play Saturday at Boise State (15-7, 3-5). The game can be heard on our sister station AM 1030 KTWO at 6pm.
