Today is the day that the University of Wyoming Men's Basketball team prove whether they have what it takes to be a true contender in the extremely tough and competitive Mountain West Conference. As Coach Larry Shyatt said "don't drink the coolade." What he means is don't read and believe what students and the press tell you. Stay focused. "Practice like you just lost your last game," is the mantra. Now that's the reality as the Pokes (13-1, 0-1) go on the road this afternoon and play Nevada (9-6, 0-1) who are 6-1 at home this season. The Pokes will be without (again) their starting guard Luke Martinez who broke his finger in a mystery incident a few weeks ago. Look for true freshman guard Josh Adams and sophomore Riley Grabau to fill the gap as floor generals and Sophomore Larry Nance Jr. (who was invisible against Boise in the first half) to potentially fill the scoring lapse's the Pokes suffered against Boise. Also look for MWC Player of the Week, Leonard Washington, to have a much better outing than he did against Boise.

Game can be heard on our sister station AM 1030 KTWO around 4pm.
