For all the people that made the six hour drive to Laramie from the northern part of the state to view the Pokes match up against #21 Boise State Broncos, the trip home was even longer. Boise State scored quickly and often against a coach less Cowboys Squad. Head Coach Dave Christensen was not on the side lines today (he was suspended for one game by the University) as the Cowboys (1-7, 0-4) fell the Boise State 45-14 in Laramie, and have yet to win a Conference game.

There were not a lot of highlights for Cowboy fans to glam on to as the Broncos ran up 437 yards of total offense against a lack luster Cowboy defense. The Bronco's Joe Southwick completed 20 of 28 passes for 198 yards and one interception and managed an efficient Boise State offense that converted 12 of 14 third downs and scored on all five its red zone opportunities. Wyoming assistant head coach Pete Kaligis sat if for Head Coach Christensen. The future might a little rosier for the win less Cowboys. The Pokes will have the Colorado State Rams (1-6, 0-3) in the annual Border War, Saturday afternoon in Laramie.
