Spring cleaning is in full swing in Casper and Natrona County. It's amazing how much "junk" we all accumulate from one spring to the next. In the age of  'identity theft' it's extremely wise to properly destroy said documents.DARE and Powder River Shredders are coming together for a fundraiser to support the program that works to keep kids off drugs and give our youth better options and choices as they navigate their daily lives. For a small donation to the DARE program you can get rid of old bank statements, pay stubs, tax records, household and medical bills, credit card bills, cancelled checks, legal papers and more items that you may have around the house.

Box your documents (up to 100 pounds) and bring them to the Wal-Mart (west) parking lot Saturday, May 19th, from 10 am until 2 pm. Law enforcement officers will be on hand to assist with your documents.

No need to remove staples or paper clips, but no metal binders or plastic please. For more information, call Dave Kinghorn or Michael Scott at 235-9282 or Gary Kassay at 235-8278.

Pepsi is donating their product for this event, so you'll be able to enjoy free hotdogs and Pepsi while your documents are securely destroyed.
