Spring break is just around the corner, so now is the time to get a game plan for the kiddos. This time of year it is a roll of the dice on the weather. It could be a perfect day for a picnic, or it could be a good day to build a snowman. So we wanted to fill this list with a lot of good options - indoors and outdoors. Regardless, there are fun things for anyone the age of 2-years of age to 99-years of age.

Not all of these location have the same hours of operation, please visit each location's website to plan your trip accordingly.

If we missed any event, please let us know on Facebook or send us an email here. We will do our best to update this list as we get more information.

Platte River Trail - If the weather is permitting, go on a hike on one of Casper's paved trails Do some bird watching. See if you can find animal tracks in the mud.

The Science Zone - Science can be fun. Have your kids play with the exhibits or sign up for one of their classes or camps.

The Nicolaysen Art Museum - Enrich the creative side of the brain with a trip to the Nic. Stop by for a quick visit or sign up for an Art Lab.

Tate Geologic Museum - Take a trip back to the Cretaceous or Jurassic at the Tate Geologic Museum. A lot of Casper's wealth and notoriety came from oil. Oil that may have, at one point long ago, been a dinosaur. The Cowboy State could easily be the Dino State with as many fossils that have been discovered here.

Go see a movie - If your budget allows, go watch the latest blockbuster on the big screen. It is a favorite Casper pastime, and there are plenty of good theaters to choose.

Go rollerskating - Looking for something active to do with the kids? Why not take them rollerskating. It's a good way to burn up some energy, and you can show the what mom and dad did on a Friday night back in the day.

Visit a Historical Landmark - History is around us everywhere in Wyoming. Take a trip to Independence Rock, Devils Gate, or the Sacajawea gravesite.
