The theme is a hashtag, but the goal is improving the lives of thousands of Wyoming kids. The 2018 #FundaFuture Reverse Raffle and Auction to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming is slated for Saturday, February 3rd, at the Casper Events Center.

"We had over this past year 391,000 program opportunities for thousands of kids, over 3,200 members and thousands more in outreach," says Chief Executive Officer Ashley Bright.

The annual Reverse Raffle and Auction features not only an evening of fun and inspiration, but a chance to bid on "exciting, one-of-a-kind experiences, trips to unique and exotic locales, home and outdoor living packages, and more," according to BGCCW. There will also be a silent auction including a variety of items including art, collectibles, and entertainment. Each ticket holder also has a chance to win $5,000 cash in the famous Reverse Raffle, where the last ticket drawn is the big winner.

Proceeds from the event will support operations of the 10 clubs in three counties served by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming.

"We have a 3.7 million dollar budget," says Bright, "so it's a budget that's needed to serve the thousands of kids that we see annually. So we do rely on these community events to help support our budget."

Bright also shares this quote from a 17-year-old from the club, illustrating the impact of the club on the young woman and so many more.

"The club is my home away from home. In a life where the meaning of family was always obscured to me, the staff and teens of the club were able to show me what it feels like to love and be loved, and what it means to have a home."
