With Christmas past and New Years a few short days away, most folk are breathing a sigh of relief that the more hectic days of the holiday season are behind us.  That is of course, until FX starts rocketing new premieres at us all through January! First up will see the return of FX's 'Justified' on January 8,' followed by 'Archer' and 'Anger Management' on the 17, but are you ready to be blown away by 'The Americans?' Check out two new trailers for an early look!

FX may have tested the period drama waters with this past season of 'American Horror Story: Asylum,' but its journey into the Cold War will really blow us backward. The network has released two new trailers for 'The Americans,' focusing both on the intriguing undercover characters of the piece, as well as its explosive action.

For those unfamiliar with the series, ‘The Americans’ takes place in 1982 and follows Elizabeth Jennings (Keri Russell), one half of a KGB-arranged marriage planted within Washington D.C. Her relationship with her husband Philip (Matthew Rhys) becomes increasingly tested by the Cold War’s escalation, the associations they maintain with a network of spies and informants under their control, as well as their new FBI agent neighbor Stan Beeman (Noah Emmerich).

Along the way, Elizabeth and Philip find their fake relationship growing more passionate and genuine on a daily basis. ‘The Americans’ was also recently announced to include a hefty guest turn from ‘Justified’ Emmy winner Margo Martindale.

Take a look at the new trailers for 'The Americans' below, and tell us in the comments if you'll check out the January 30 premiere!
