UNDATED (AP) — Florida, Georgetown, Miami and Saint Louis were in line to clinch the regular-season title in their respective conferences Wednesday. Only the 11th-ranked Gators managed to turn the trick.

Kenn Boyton scored 15 points, Pat Young had 14 and the Gators wrapped up the SEC crown with a 66-40 stifling of Vanderbilt. Florida took control with a 25-8 run after leading just 24-14 at halftime.

The Gators capped a 15-0 season at home and claimed their fourth outright league title since 1988-89.

Fifth-ranked Georgetown had a chance to wrap up the Big East regular-season title until JayVAughn Pinkston scored 20 points to lead Villanova's 67-57 win over the Hoyas. The Wildcats ended Georgetown's 11-game winning streak and beat a top-5 team for the third time at home this season.

Sixth-ranked Miami coughed up an 11-point lead in the second half and lost to Georgia Tech 71-69. Marcus Georges-Hunt followed his own miss to tip in the winning basket at the buzzer, preventing the Hurricanes from clinching the ACC title.

No. 16 Saint Louis saw its 11-game winning streak end with a 77-66 loss at Xavier. Travis Taylor had 19 points and a career-high 19 rebounds as the Musketeers dropped the Billikens into a tie with VCU for first place in the Atlantic 10 conference.

In other top-25 action, Seventh-ranked Michigan beat Purdue 80-75 behind Trey Burke's 26 points and five rebounds. Nik Stauskas had 17 points and Tim Hardaway Jr. added 16 to help the Wolverines overcome Terone Johnson's career-high 35 points for the Boilermakers.

Tony Snell dropped in 25 points on 8-of-11 shooting to lead No. 12 New Mexico to a 75-62 win at Nevada. Cameron Bairstow added 15 points and 10 rebounds to help the Mountain West champs improve to 13-2 in the conference.

Iowa State boosted its NCAA tournament hopes by beating a ranked team as Will Clyburn's 20 points led an 87-76 triumph over No. 13 Oklahoma State. Georges Niang added 18 points in the Cyclones' second victory over a ranked opponent this season.

Brandon Triche (trihsh) and James Southerland combined for 37 points in the final home game of their college careers to lead the No. 17 Syracuse past DePaul 78-57. Southerland ended up with 22 points and Triche finished with 15 points as the Orange ended a three-game skid.

Treveon Graham scored 15 of his 21 points after intermission, including a go-ahead bucket with 2:58 left in VCU's 93-82 win over Richmond. Juvonte Reddic added 16 points for the 21st-ranked Rams.

No. 23 UCLA lost its share of the Pac-12 lead with a 73-61 loss at Washington State. Brock Motum had 20 points and 11 rebounds as the last-place Cougars ended a nine-game losing streak.
