More than $20,000 has been awarded to a number of Natrona County organizations that produce events or lead initiatives that drive tourism in the area.

The grants were awarded by the Natrona County Travel and Tourism Council and  include:

  • Casper Recreational League
  • Irish Dance Association
  • Natrona County School District
  • Wyoming Amateur Wrestling Association
  • Amusement Operators of Wyoming
  • Wyoming Shrine Bowl, Inc.
  • Wyoming Symphony Orchestra.

“On behalf of the grant committee and the Natrona County Travel & Tourism Council, we are pleased to  be able to support these events and organizations in Natrona County,” says Brook Kreder, CEO of Visit Casper. “When you grow tourism, you create jobs, increase earnings, enhance the economic base and improve quality of life which is a win-win for all of us.”

Any organization interested in submitting a grant for consideration must submit an application and provide supporting documentation. The Grant Committee meets twice a year to review the applications and make recommendations to the full Council for approval.
