Gunman Causes Chaos At Midnight Showing Of ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ In Colorado

A lone gunman unleashed a hail of gunfire inside an Aurora, Colorado movie theatre that killed 12 or more moviegoers and injured another 50 or better.Witnesses say the gunman released some form of a noxious gas before the bullets began to fly inside the crowded theatre. Many stories of patrons lying on the floor, trying to crawl to safety are emerging from the chaotic scene.

Police have arrested one known suspect in connection with the early morning shooting at Aurora's Century 16 Theatres. The gunman was heavily armed with a shotgun, rifle and two handguns.

The suspect told police his car had explosive devices inside, but none were found. He also made the same statement about his apartment and the police have cautiously trying to gain access into the  apartment too.
