For the official opening night of the new "It" movie, a very diligent fan (or group of fans) tied balloons to just about every sewer grate on 2nd Street from Hood's Equipment & Sprinkler all the way down to Walgreens.

While this has been a trend all across America leading up to the release of the 2017 remake of the classic 1990 made-for-TV movie based on the Stephen King novel of the same name, it shows a level of commitment rarely seen in Casper. As a fan of all three versions of "It", you just have to respect the tenacity behind the task. Taking into account the Wyoming wind, combined with the traffic on one of the busiest streets in town, this had to have been a truly herculean feat!

In addition to the gutter balloons, there have also been numerous sightings of a person (or people) dressed as clowns downtown over the course of the last few days.
