Jeff Bauman, a survivor of the Boston Marathon bombings who lost both his legs in the attacks, served as honorary flag banner captain during the Bruins playoff game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday night.

He waved a Bruins pennant before the game while on the ice as the crowd roared in support of the team – and Bauman.

Unfortunately, Bauman’s emotional moment couldn’t spur the Bruins to victory. They fell to the Maple Leafs, 4-2.
