Yesterday (Dec. 18), Kiss released an iBook to be viewed in conjunction with their latest album, 'Monster.' The iBook can be purchased for $4.99 via iTunes or through the iBooks app on the iPad.

Included on the iBook are such goodies as a 1976 live performance of 'Shout it OUt Loud,' audio samples of all of 'Monster's' songs, including the iTunes-only bonus track, 'Right Here Right Now' and lots of photos from concerts and the studio alike.

But it wouldn't be called an iBook if there wasn't plenty of reading material, would it? It also contains interviews with all four members of Kiss and 'Monster' co-producer Greg Collins, an article about their support of American troops, Kiss facts and features on subjects ranging from Kiss' legendary merchandising prowess to their newest box set, 'The Casablanca Singles: 1974-82.'

Kiss will soon be returning to another book form. Beginning in March 2013, four new Kiss comic books will be published, with Gene Simmons' "Demon" character kicking off the series with a plot inspired by his 1978 song, 'Radioactive.'
