I cannot stand Kurt Busch.  Fact of business, I prefer to call him Kurt Douche.  I thought he might straighten up some after Jimmy Spencer punched him in the mouth, and broke some teeth.

For a while it did seem that a punch in the mouth was what he needed but he has been on a steady slide down for the last couple of years.   He was fired from Penske Racing in December after acting a fool on camera with Dr. Jerry Punch, an act that earned him a $50,000 fine.

Just when it looked like nobody would give Busch a ride for 2012, along came underfunded Pheonix Racing, but instead of raising this team from the ashes, it looks like he is trying to burn this one down too.

At Darlington last month, Busch was mad when he did a burnout through Ryan Newman’s pit while Newman’s team was still over the wall, barely missing a few members.  Newman’s team complained at the safety violation and after the race, Busch ran into the back of Newman’s car.  He said it was an accident, but we know better.  This incident also earned him a $50,000 fine, and probation thru July 25.

On Monday NASCAR suspended Busch for a week and extended his probation through the end of the season, because of last weekend’s incident after the Nationwide Race at Dover last Saturday.  Busch verbally abused ‘Speed’ reporter Bob Pockrass, and it was caught on video.  He was asked how his probation affected his racing against Justin Allgaier after the two racers had contact on the track.

Here’s the video from YouTube.
