High pressure building into the the state today and Wednesday will make for spectacular weather to be outdoors. There will be plenty of sunshine to go around. Other than a slight chance for an isolated thunderstorm in the southeast later today, conditions will be mainly dry. Daytime highs will range from the mid 50s to lower 60s in the higher elevations to the the 70s in the east.  Today Casper will see highs in the mid and upper 60s.

The next cold front starts to move into northern Wyoming on Thursday. Strong west to southwest winds are expected ahead of the front in central and southern portions of the state.  The wind in Casper on Thursday will be up to 30 mph at times.

Thursday will still feature warm temperatures in the south, but it will start to turn cooler in the north. Late Thursday and Thursday night scattered showers and a few thunderstorms are expected in the north and east.
