First, I feel if we see more scraps like the one this last weekend between Jeff Gordon and Clint Bowyer, there will be a lot less empty seats in 2013.

In the Sprint Cup Series most all have been eliminated from a chance at the cup except the top two drivers. Brad Keselowski has a twenty point lead over second place Jimmie Johnson. If Brad finishes in at least 15th place, OR 16th and leads at least one lap, OR, finishes 17th but leads the most laps, he will be the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion. That's even if Johnson leads the most laps, and wins the race.

In the NASCAR Nationwide Series Ricky Stenhouse Jr. leads by twenty points over our man Elliot Sadler in second place, so it's pretty much a copy of the Sprint Cup Chase.

In the Camping World Truck Series James Buescher leads Timothy Peters by only 11points, meaning Buescher can wrap up his first championship with a finish of 7th or better, 8th or better with one lap led, or ninth or better with the most laps led.

Of course, none of this is certain, especially with some drivers thinking that they have scores to settle and only one more race to do it in, more than ever... anything can happen.
