The Denver Nuggets have the most winning active coach in the entire NBA in George Karl. But they are a very young team and have no real stand-out super star on the entire roster. What does that mean? It shows how deep of a roster the team has with any one or more players that can step up and have a phenomenal night.

This was the case in last nights home game versus the San Antonio Spurs. Denver, despite being down 2 starters (point guard Ty Lawson & small forward Danilo Gallinari) and an abysmal 14 - 0 score five minutes into the first quarter, managed to dominate pretty much the rest of the game.

Andre Iguodala filled the stat sheets as he recorded his first triple-double of the season with 12 points, 10 assists and 13 rebounds. Wilson Chandler, after starting for the injured Gallinari, racked up an impressive 29 points and Cory Brewer added 28 points off the bench. Nuggets back up center JaVale McGee only scored once, but his defense presence was felt throughout the game as he rebounded, blocked shots and gave the Spurs' all-star Tim Duncan a difficult time all game.

With last nights victory, the Nuggets broke their old record of 20 straight home wins set by Doug Moe's 1984-85 Nuggets team. Denver is currently holding the NBA record for consecutive home game wins for the season.
