Two to three inches of snow is expected in Casper from midnight Thursday through early Friday morning, according to a winter weather advisory posted by the National Weather Service.

Slick road conditions are expected during that time period, including the morning commute on Friday.

Some reduced visibility is likely. Winds gusting up to 35 mph are expected to cause patchy blowing and drifting snow.

A cold front is set to spread snow southward through Friday morning east of the Continental Divide, with snow to persist in the western Wyoming mountains into Friday morning.

The latest road conditions are available at WyoRoad.info, by calling 511 or using the WYDOT 511 app for smartphones.
