The long hours in practice are paying off for a number of 4A High School Football teams. One Casper team is walking towards destiny in what could be an undefeated season. The 2012 playoff picture became a lot less murkier last night.

The Natrona Mustangs put another notch in their belt, now at 10-0, by riding the back of Josh Flanagan who had two rushing touchdowns in the the second half, and senior Dan Reese who had 11 tackles, to put away Rock Springs 54-7. The Mustangs second round opponent will be Cheyenne East who took down Cheyenne Central 45-6.

Things didn't fare as well for the Kelly Walsh Trojans as they saw their season come to an end up in Sheridan losing to the Broncs 35-14. Sheridan will go on the road to play Gillette who beat Evanston 42-16.
