I remember when Queen"s Bohemian Rhapsody first came out. It was a new breakthrough in the rock and roll genre. Showing the versatility of Queen as a band and Freddy Mercury as a front man. Now after 20 years. Queen will release new material. "Queen are to release their first new album in almost 20 years that will include unheard vocals by late frontman Freddie Mercury, the band's guitarist Brian May has disclosed. The record, which has the working title Queen Forever, is due to be released in stores at the end of the year and will feature songs from the 1980s.Mercury’s distinctive vocals will be merged with recently recorded instrumental tracks."We found a few more tracks with Freddie singing and all of us playing," May told BBC Radio Wales during an interview at the Hay Festival.

"They are quite beautiful and people will be hearing this work towards the end of the year. "We are going to put out an album which is probably going to be called Queen Forever. It is a compilation but it will have this new material that nobody in the world has ever heard.

"Most of it comes from the 1980s when we were in full flight so it is quite emotional. It is the big, big ballads and the big, big epic sound.“We had to start from scratch because we only had scraps, but knowing how it would have happened if we had finished it, I can sit there and make it happen with modern technology."The acclaimed rock band will be touring North America for the first time in almost a decade in June, with Adam Lambert standing in for Mercury."This is the closest that you'll ever get to see Queen as it was in our golden days, but it's not a reproduction," May told Rolling Stone. "It's not an imitation.

"We're here live and real and we have a great singer. They'll be a lot of newness about this. I think that's very exciting. It'll be loud and dangerous and all the things that people used to look for in us."Since Mercury's death in 1991, Queen have released one album of recordings, 1995's 'Made In Heaven'.That featured original Queen bassist John Deacon, but he hasn't recorded any music for the new album." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/music/rockandpopmusic/10859712/Queen-to-Release-New-Album-With-Unreleased-Freddie-Mercury-Songs.html
