November 25, will see a number of artist taking part in Record Store Day with many special releases.  Expect album reissues, new singles and some rare never before released material all on vinyl!

Included in the list of releases are box sets from The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin and, as previously  reported, The Doors,  each offering four seven-inch vinyl  singles.  Among the other special  discs being issued in conjunction with  the campaign are Pete Townshend's The Quadrophenia Demos  1 EP, which features early versions of six tunes that The  Who recorded for the band's classic 1973 album; as well as singles from The Byrds, The Lovin' Spoonful and The  Yardbirds.

Record Store Day is to support independent record stores. Locally Sonic Rainbow would be a great starting place if you're looking to score some of this exclusive material.
