As we continue to tap into moisture coming in from the Pacific and as a slow moving upper level weather system continue to slowly swirl through the atmosphere, the state will continue to be in line for scattered showers.  Today, the more significant precipitation will be found in the east, with lighter showers expected in the west.  Temperatures will stay cool in the southeast and higher elevations where highs will only be in the 50s and 60s.  The northeast will see highs in the 70s.

On Friday and Saturday the moisture starts to push further east.  Expect a few showers those two days, but they will be lighter and more of the isolated variety.  Temperatures will start to warm up a touch as well.
