The hometown of the grunge pioneers Nirvana, will pay tribute to the band with an exhibit called "Nirvana: Taking Punk to the Masses" at the Experience Music Project.  Among the items from Kurt Cobain are handwritten lyrics for songs like "Floyd The Barber" and "Spank Thru," and a cardigan often worn by Cobain.

Dave Grohl's drum kit and Krist Novoselic's acoustic bass guitar will also be on display. The exhibit will run from April 16-22 and will feature 200 artifacts tied to the band's history.
