First performed in 1979 Amadeus is a highly fictionalized account of composers Wolfgang Amadeus and Antonio Salieri.Amadeus will be on the McMurry Mainstage at Casper College during the 29th Annual Casper College Humanities Festival.

  The Tony award-winning play "Amadeus" by Peter Shaffer comes to the McMurry Mainstage beginning with a Wednesday night performance, as part of the 29th Annual Casper College Humanities Festival.  Amadeus looks at the fatal rivalry between the young, genius composer Mozart and the established court composer Salieri.  The play will run at 7:30 pm each night and at 2:00 pm on Sunday, march 9th.  Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students ages 5 to 18.  Tickets can be purchased at the Krampert Theatre Complex box office between 10:00 amd and 3:00 pm, Monday thorugh Friday, by phone at 268-2500, one hour before each performance, for that evenings performance only, or online at http://www.caspercollege.edu/theatre.
