Soundgarden was always one of my favorite "heavier" bands. And when egos, money, women, and all the trappings of rock and roll began to get in the way of music. I lost interest. Just another famous band that should be piled on the wood pile of failed potential greatness due to over indulgence.

But hold on. Could it be at that an incredible band gets back together and really makes it work because their focus is "gasp" the music? Yes. They have done it. Check out the new "King Animal."

"“There’s nothing stopping us from continuing to make records and continuing to play shows. We had a great experience doing the album, and since we’ve come back together everything’s been that way.” http://www.classicrockmagazine.com/news/soundgarden-has-a-future-chris-cornell/

Finally. An incredible band that almost went under do to the stupidity of ego, drugs, money and women fights back to fine what made them great in the beginning. The music.
