during its first week of release, becoming the 10th #1 album for the New Jersery rock legend, tying him for third place with Elvis Presley on the list of artists with the most chart-topping billboard albums behind The Beatles with 19 and Jay-Z with 12.

Adele's 21 spent a total of 23 weeks at the peak of Billboard's 200 before getting knocked off by Wrecking Ball which sold only 1,000 more copies than Adele's monster effort  21.
