Earlier this month, it was announced that Def Leppard would be joining Rock n Roll Fantasy Camp in Las Vegas from April 4 through 7. Just yesterday, two other music heavyweights have been confirmed for the April 18 through 21 edition of the camp: Brian Wilson and Jeff Beck.

Sunday night (Feb. 10) marked a milestone for the Beach Boys, who picked up their first-ever Grammy for the 'Smile Sessions' box set -- but that doesn't mean the recently renewed rift between Brian Wilson and Mike Love will be mended anytime soon.

Last month, we watched the happy vibes surrounding the Beach Boys' 50th anniversary tour evaporate amidst reports that Mike Love had dismissed Brian Wilson and Al Jardine from the lineup. Of course, this isn't the first time Wilson and Jardine have been fired from the band; in fact, Wilson was shown the door 30 years ago today (Nov. 5).

Even if he were simply one of the most critically revered songwriters of the rock era, Brian Wilson’s life story would be ripe for the film treatment. Toss in decades of eccentric behavior and lawsuits, and you’ve got yourself one heck of a biopic.
