Christian Bale is not exactly known for being the warmest and fuzziest of stars in Hollywood, but he’s sure doing his best to change that image.

Christian Bale's Best Supporting Actor acceptance speech for his role in 'The Fighter' was memorable for two reasons:  He made reference to a notorious explicit-filled rant he directed at a crew-member during the filming of "Terminator Salvation," and he seems like he may have forgotten his wife name while thanking her. There weren't a whole lot of surprises at the 83rd Academy Awards -- as expected, "The King's Speech" took the big prize as Best Picture. The film about King George VI overcoming his stutter also garnered a Best Actor statue for Colin Firth and a Best Director win for Tom Hooper.
