Last week when Wyoming received it's annual May blizzard, we asked if residents think interstate closures are a good thing or a bad thing for Wyoming's economy.
I've always been curious, and this might be a dumb question, but does the road closing actually help our economy because motorists are forced to stay in hotels, eat at our restaurants, get our gas? Or does it hurt, because as soon as they close motorists head for I-70 or alternate routes around our state?
Mead and the Department of Workforce Services worked with the Wyoming Workforce Development Council, as well as local economic development groups and other organizations, to access the federal funding.
