The ‘How The West Was Run’ 5K Mud Challenge Is This Weekend

Calling all mudders!!  Townsquare Media and the Windy City Striders bring you the How the West was Run 5K Mud Challenge this Saturday, June 28th! An epic race course has been designed to get you running, crawling, jumping and climbing over and through multiple obstacles that will test your strength, will and endurance.

The Casper Family YMCA has also created a shorter version of the course for the Mini Muddies-kids ages 2-12 and show off their skills in the mud. The race is taking place at the Mesa Development Park at CY Middle School (just follow the signs to the starting line).

Registration is available for both individuals and teams of 4. Choose your level of competition, or just plan on just trying to survive.

Cost:

• $40 for Individuals
• $150 for a team of 4
• $15 for kid’s
• $50 for a kid’s team of 4

‘How The West Was Run’ 5K Mud Challenge is sold out!  Join us to cheer on the racers, there’ll be food/drink/beer for sale.  So come out for a good while people are getting down and dirty!
