The most recent cold front is now to the south of the state.  It has brought in somewhat cooler, more pleasant temperatures especially to the southeast.  Today’s highs will top off in the upper 70s and 80s.  Lingering moisture from the front will trigger late day isolated to scattered thunderstorms mainly in eastern and central Wyoming this afternoon and evening.

On Thursday, with the front further east and the flow of moisture pushing further south, thunderstorms are going to be harder to come by other than perhaps a rumble of thunder around the mountains.  By Friday a few thunderstorms will redevelop in the southeast as well as in the higher elevations.
