Upon hearing that Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and the Eagles are heading to the "Big Easy," for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, thoughts of an early spring flyaway to New Orleans came to mind.

It will be the first for both acts at this venue. The festival runs over two weekends from April 27th through May 6th. Others to perform include Bonnie Raitt, Al Green, John Mayer, Foo Fighters, Dr. John, the Levon Helm Band and the Neville Brothers. Tickets are available now at NoJazzFest.com.

The likelyhood of New Orleans is a stretch, but Broomfield,  Colorado is in the crosshairs. The band will play a series of North American dates before they head to Europe. The April 19th show in Broomfield, Colorado will start a run that ends on May 5th in Austin, TX.
