Casper police arrested two people late Wednesday after searching a house and allegedly finding a significant quantity of fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana and paraphernalia.

Alec D. Miller, 32, and 36-year-old Margaret N. Schunk were each booked into jail on recommended charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of fentanyl.

They will likely make their initial appearances in Natrona County Circuit Court at 2 p.m. Thursday.

Charging papers say that Casper police officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1000 block of St. John shortly after 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.

In a bedroom shared by Schunk and Miller, police say they found marijuana and methamphetamine paraphernalia including pipes, bags with residue, "tooters" used to snort methamphetamine, a small bong and a grinder.

A pink box inside a closet allegedly contained a scale, multiple jeweler's bags both with residue and unused, syringes, spoons with meth residue, pipes with meth residue, three marijuana pipes, 43 grams of marijuana wax, a package containing 20 mg of fentanyl and a small package of marijuana.

A jeweler's bag containing meth was also found where police first contacted Schunk. A box of broken meth and marijuana pipes was allegedly found in Miller's workshop.

The affidavit does not explain why the home was searched, other than to say that the officers executed a search warrant.
