On the third season premier of Duck Dynasty, Uncle Si Robertson laid out his 'number one rules' for the outdoors, and we want to share them with you.

On duck season eve, the boys traditionally rough it in the woods, though this year Willie decided to bring the RV, which turned out to be a mistake. One of the best parts of the episode was that Uncle Si shared his rules for the woods, and I got a big kick out of Si's rules, because they are all... RULE #1.

Si's Rule #1: Take plenty of bug spray. According to Si Robertson, mosquitoes in Louisiana are so big that when you slap them, you better knock them out, hey, cause the will slap you back.

Si's Rule # 1: Never go in the woods without a pistol. You never know when you might want to shoot something. In this case it was a dead log... 13 times.

Si's Rule # 1: Always have your buddy's back, hey, that's rule number one. Though in this particular situation, he "had his buddy's back" by leaving the boys in the woods to go get some deer sausage at Phil  & Ms, Kay's house.

Si's Rule # 1: Lay down and digest. Of course when he got to Phil & Kay's he dug into some of Ms. Kay's famous jambalaya, and ate some deer sausage, all while the boys were roughing it in the woods fighting mosquitoes, and because somebody had dropped the weenies on the ground, and Si never returned with the deer sausage Jase and Martin resorted to eating marshmallows and hotdog buns, a creation they dubbed "Mallowdogs".

Si's Rule # 1: Never drop your weenie. I think he was truly disappointed that he missed out on eating some of those "mallowdogs".

It looks like it's going to be a good season of the "Quack Pack"...
